HOKKIEN BRAISED MEAT ( HONG BAK）福建封肉
Auntie Lian’s Hokkien Braised Meat is a bit similar to Soy Sauce Braised Pork but it is actually different in variations of ingredients and way of cooking.It consists of Pork Belly and chicken cutlet too. Hong Bak has it’s own flavour and unique taste with a little sweetness compared to Soy Sauce Braised Pork which tastes savoury.
Hard boiled egg can be added. The thick sauce that packed with the essence of the pork and chicken meat is good to go with the white rice. The chewy texture of the well- braised pork belly..it's simply makes it an awesome dish!
1) Boil the water in the pot.
2) Place the RTE pouch in the boiling water for 15-20min.
3) Ready to serve.
